Job Summary:

Five Star Parks & Attractions is seeking a Marketing Director to support the VP of Marketing in driving strategic initiatives across all parks and brands. This role helps lead the execution of marketing campaigns, digital programs, email/SMS communication, promotions, and brand development projects. The Marketing Director will partner closely with the VP of Marketing, internal teams, and external agencies to ensure consistent, high-quality marketing operations that elevate brand awareness, guest engagement, and revenue growth.

Accountabilities:

Support the VP of Marketing in planning and executing promotional events and park-level marketing activities.

Assist in developing and rolling out comprehensive marketing strategies that increase awareness and drive visitation across all locations.

Conduct ongoing market and competitive research and translate insights into actionable recommendations.

Help manage communication and coordination with media partners, agencies, and key external stakeholders.

Support brand consistency across the organization by contributing to branding initiatives, identity updates, and creative standards.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

Partner with the VP of Marketing to execute marketing initiatives including advertising campaigns, seasonal promotions, and in-park activations.

Collaborate with senior leaders and park teams to support location-specific marketing needs and ensure consistent execution.

Lead the execution of email and SMS marketing campaign.

Work with the Five Star Digital Agency to support paid media programs, supply creative assets, monitor performance, and provide campaign reporting.

Oversee aspects of local marketing execution including signage, creative needs, and park-level brand alignment.

Analyze guest insights, market data, and category trends to support campaign development and strategic recommendations.

Support revenue-generating programs such as birthdays, group events, and corporate sales with marketing materials, content, and communication strategies.

Highly organized and self-motivated with strong analytical problem-solving skills.

3-5 years of Email/SMS Marketing experience.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and proven leadership skills.

Detail-oriented and good time management skills and ability to prioritize work.

Thorough understanding of marketing strategies, developments, and practices.

Demonstrates ability to take initiative, anticipate needs and exercise independent/sound judgment.

Be easily assessable for after-hour and weekend travel, scheduling, and other needs.

Education, Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree required.

A minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a similar role.

Must be proficient with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook.

Strong organizational skills, experience in prioritizing work and the ability to multi-task.

Ability to maintain multiple projects and various deadline.

Strong analytical mindset and passion for problem-solving and strong focus on detail and accuracy of work.

Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing client and corporate needs.

Friendly approach and comfortable dealing directly with clients and executive leadership.
