We invite applications for the Part-Time Lecturer Pool in the Department of Cinema and Television Arts (CTVA) at California State University, Fullerton. Positions are temporary and may be assigned with short notice at the beginning of the academic term. Responsibilities
Qualified candidates will be asked to teach courses in the following subject areas: Critical Studies Management Production Screenwriting Appointments are typically for one semester and are made as Lecturers under the CSU/California Faculty Association Collective Bargaining Agreement. Required Qualifications
PhD, MFA, or equivalent experience in a related discipline. Prior teaching experience at the university level. Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with a culturally diverse student population, including first‑generation college students. Preferred Qualifications
Experience teaching and fostering an inclusive learning environment with diverse populations. Record of professional writing and application of current media trends. How to Apply

Initial appointments are for one semester only. Current classification range is $5,507–$6,677 per month, prorated to units worked and paid in six monthly payments for each full semester. For a three‑unit assignment, typical compensation ranges from $6,608.40 to $7,465.20 per semester. Legal and Compliance Statements

This position holder is a mandated reporter under the California Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Act and must comply with CSU Executive Order 1083, revised July 21, 2017. Criminal Background Clearance Notice
This offer is contingent upon the completion of a satisfactory background check. Employment may be rescinded if the background check reveals disqualifying information or if information was knowingly withheld or falsified.
