Overview

We’re seeking a CAD Designer to support civil/site development projects across commercial, residential, municipal, and infrastructure sectors. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys detailed design work, thrives in a collaborative environment, and wants long-term growth within a stable, well-supported technical team.


Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed civil engineering drawings including site plans, grading plans, utility layouts, drainage, and roadway design

• Produce high-quality CAD files and construction documents in alignment with company and client drafting standards

• Coordinate with engineers and project managers to incorporate design changes and meet project requirements

• Set up sheets, templates, and drawing packages for efficient workflows

• Perform redlines, revisions, and updates throughout the design lifecycle

• Assist with permitting submittals and documentation as needed

• Support multidisciplinary teams by sharing information, design updates, and technical changes across disciplines


Qualifications

• 2–8 years of experience as a CAD Technician/Designer within civil engineering or related disciplines

• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D (grading, alignments, surfaces, corridors preferred)

• Understanding of civil/site design fundamentals, plan production, and drafting standards

• Ability to interpret engineering sketches, specifications, and markups

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills

• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment


Preferred Experience (Not Required)

• Experience with land development, municipal infrastructure, transportation, or water resources projects

• Familiarity with GIS, Bluebeam, or related software

• Knowledge of local permitting, codes, and drafting standards
