The Director of Marketing will lead the firm marketing strategy, brand management and execution across all channels. This role is ideal for a hands‑on leader who can balance high‑level strategy with day‑to‑day implementation. The Director of Marketing will partner closely with leadership, advisors, and business development to drive brand awareness, client acquisition, and retention.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and lead the firm’s overall marketing strategy aligned with business goals
Define and manage brand positioning, messaging, and visual identity
Collaborate with executive leadership to support growth initiatives and product launches
Oversee creation and distribution of marketing materials including thought leadership, market commentary, client newsletters, and advisor sales materials
Manage digital content calendar and campaign execution across website, email, and social media
Ensure all content aligns with SEC/FINRA compliance and brand standards
Manage the firm’s website, SEO, and digital ad campaigns to increase visibility and lead generation
Track and report on marketing KPIs, campaign ROI, and audience engagement
Partner with financial advisors and Practice Management team to provide custom marketing support, including pitch decks, bios, event materials, and client communications
Oversee use and optimization of marketing automation and CRM platforms)
Plan and promote client events, webinars, and sponsorships that reinforce the brand and deepen relationships
Manage internal marketing staff and external vendors/agencies
Oversee budget planning and execution for marketing initiatives
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field; MBA preferred
7+ years of marketing experience, ideally in the financial services or wealth management industry
Deep understanding of RIA marketing, regulatory requirements, and client communications
Proven ability to develop and execute strategic marketing plans
Strong writing/editing skills and eye for design
Experience with digital platforms: email marketing, CMS, social media, CRM, Google Analytics
Ability to collaborate cross‑functionally and manage multiple projects under deadlines
Leadership experience and a hands‑on, can‑do attitude
