We are seeking a talented and motivated mid-level Graphic Designer to join our award-winning, in-house Integrated Design team within the Office of Marketing and Communications.As a Graphic Designer at Brandeis, you will have the opportunity to design and produce high-concept, high-impact pieces in print and digital formats that reflect the institution’s visual identity and messaging. Your work will directly support Brandeis’s strategic goals related to student enrollment, reputation building, and fundraising.The hiring range for the position is $65,000–$71,400**Roles and Responsibilities**In consultation with the Director of Integrated Design, colleagues in the Office of Marketing Communications, and campus partners, create original designs for multiple platforms, including print collateral, web/mobile, social media, email, and advertising.* Communicate and collaborate seamlessly with team members in generating new design concepts or building upon existing ones.* Design strategic and visually compelling materials that reflect Brandeis’s mission and brand standards.* Prepare files for print and/or digital platforms and communicate effectively with vendors.* Demonstrate strong organizational skills by meeting tight deadlines, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and adhering to budget considerations.* Present design concepts clearly and confidently to partners and project teams.* Contribute to the ongoing development of creative approaches that enhance the university’s visual storytelling.**Qualifications*** 3–5 years of professional experience in print and digital design.* BA/BFA in Graphic Design or related field.* Superior knowledge of print design and strong typography skills.* Advanced experience designing and producing art for digital platforms.* Demonstrated proficiency with Mac OS and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat); familiarity with Microsoft Office.* Impeccable attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities* Excellent communication, collaboration, and time management skills.* Photo retouching and illustration skills, as well as motion graphics experience, are a plus.**Work Environment**This is a hybrid position based on our Waltham, MA campus, with certain on-site days required to support collaboration and creative teamwork.**How to Apply**Please submit your cover letter, résumé, and a link to your online portfolio (include the link in your résumé).
