Wripple’s airline client is looking for a UX/UI Designer responsible for the creativity and delivery of one of the company’s new digital products. This is a 40-hour/week, 12‑month long contract, hybrid onsite – you must be onsite 3 days/week at the client’s headquarters in south Atlanta.
The design team is multidisciplinary. The role offers a rare opportunity to work across UX/UI design, evaluating product usability, designing intuitive flows, and ensuring seamless experiences. You will translate functional and aesthetic requirements into clear specifications for developers and stakeholders, validate the final output through testing, and bring strong visual and graphic design skills using Figma, Photoshop, and GenAI.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with UX Designers, Product Owners, and Engineers to translate complex business requirements into end-to-end user flows in Figma, Mural, or other tools
Develop detailed and creative storyboards, mockups, screens, and prototypes to communicate interaction, content, and design ideas
Work closely with other UX Designers to understand design requirements and rationale
Prepare and document existing design screens and flows for IT delivery within Figma
Review and approve engineering deliverables from a Design + Product lens to ensure accurate and high-quality output
Collaborate with engineers to ensure all development needs and queries are met
Ensure that all Figma designs are aligned with business requirements, pre and post delivery
Participate in design team ceremonies and provide UX design assistance and expertise
Assist in graphic design and content mockup requests within the context of UI design
Minimum Qualifications
At least 4+ years working in UX Design, UI Design, Digital Design, or HCI
Highly organized
Experience working in large, cross‑functional teams
Strong and accurate eye for visual/design details
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong portfolio of digital product or design work, creative UX problem solving, and IT/Engineering handoff documentation
Mid to Advanced Figma software knowledge
Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop for creating mockups
Familiarity with GenAI tools, especially Adobe Firefly
Ability to translate research and data into tangible solutions
Basic Photoshop software knowledge
Design system knowledge
Ability to build user flows in collaboration tools such as Figma, Mural, or Miro
Ability to translate communication cross-functionally (e.g., communicating to engineering about visual design needs or to marketers about technical challenges)
Ability to support with in‑person UI/UX/product testing on a weekly basis
