POSITION SUMMARY We are seeking a Product Designer to create intuitive, user-centered experiences across our Aurora product suite. You will partner with product managers, engineers, and customers to design solutions that simplify complex equipment finance workflows. This role requires someone who can balance business objectives with user needs while designing for a specialized financial services audience.

Key Responsibilities

Design end-to-end user experiences for web-based financial software, from discovery and research through final implementation and iteration

Create interactive prototypes, wireframes, and high-fidelity mockups that effectively communicate design concepts to cross-functional teams

Conduct user research, usability testing, and customer interviews to validate design decisions and identify pain points in equipment finance workflows

Collaborate with product managers to translate business requirements and customer feedback into intuitive design solutions that meet both user and lender needs

Partner with engineering teams to ensure design feasibility and maintain quality throughout implementation, providing specifications and guidance as needed

Contribute to and maintain our design system, creating reusable components and patterns that ensure consistency across the Aurora platform

Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders, incorporating feedback while advocating for user needs and design best practices

Analyze product metrics and user behavior data to measure design impact and identify opportunities for improvement

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION Required Qualifications

3+ years of professional experience in product design or UX/UI development

Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design process for web applications, including user research, wireframes, and final UI

Proficiency building prototypes with Figma or Axure, and familiarity with other design tools (Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar)

Experience conducting user research and translating insights into actionable design improvements

Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and interaction design patterns

Demonstrated ability to design for complex workflows and data-heavy interfaces

Strong communication skills with ability to articulate design decisions and collaborate effectively in remote environments

Experience designing for fintech products, financial services, lending, B2B SaaS, or enterprise software

Experience designing products that meet web accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1) and inclusive design practices

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with Salesforce platform design patterns and Lightning Design System

Understanding of equipment finance, credit decisioning, or loan origination processes

Experience designing for both desktop and mobile responsive experiences

Education and certifications can be earned in role.
