Our Client is a Global FMCG company with International iconic brands, and we are now searching for an innovative Marketing Director to join the team as
USA Marketing Director
in the Baltimore Area. Reporting to the CEO USA, you will be responsible for the brand activities and will oversee the associated local marketing team. You will execute the marketing guidelines defined by the Headquarters, demonstrate responsiveness and proactivity, and translate global strategies into impactful local actions while maintaining close alignment with HQ in Europe. You will interface with Business Development, Operations, Finance, and Sales as required and will work on a high‑growth portfolio of brands.
This role will drive excellent programs and execution while creating value through internal and external marketing, in line with global imperatives. Strong communication, presentation, networking and interpersonal skills will be key to your success.
Responsibilities
Drive the Trade Marketing & Category management for the US business, in line with global imperatives provided by the Global Marketing Team.
Lead the US Trade Marketing, Public Relations & eCommerce functions to fully integrate with the US sales teams and the Global Marketing Team.
Analyze sales data (sell‑in / sell‑out) and provide reports on the business to assess performance and propose corrective actions where needed.
Prepare ad‑hoc presentations (Sales meetings, Distributors meetings, HQ meetings).
Manage internal and external team and agency relationships to execute an exceptional marketing program that consistently brings forward inspired, next‑level deliverables.
Develop a deep understanding and manage brand voice; serve as a brand advocate across all marketing channels.
Train and develop direct reports; set goals, coach, mentor and evaluate team performance.
Oversee the team’s development and delivery processes.
Create world‑class brand activations for International US NPD, guaranteeing the brands secure a significant share of attention among our consumer base.
Develop a multi‑channel approach to activating the international US portfolio in the US market, creating plans to increase distribution and consumption of the international US brands in all channels of trade.
Manage the investment envelopes for the Trade Marketing and Category functions, ensuring all customer deal fund investment is evaluated.
Ensure the sales teams receive category insights and support in order to protect the current business and expand the range into other categories and customers.
Other duties as assigned.
What We Are Looking For
Minimum 8‑years experience in a similar marketing/trade marketing role
BS in Marketing / Business Administration or related field
5+ years of FMCG, Food & Beverage and/or Wine & Spirits industry experience
5+ years supervisory/management experience
Demonstrable ability to lead and manage people, projects and activities
Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and organizational skills
High proficiency in AI, Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Ability to build and sustain excellent relationships at all levels (internal and external)
Experience in launching new products in a crowded marketplace
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Entrepreneurial and ambitious self‑starter who can set their own targets and efficiently organize work schedule
IRI, Nielsen, IWSR systems knowledge is a plus
Base pay range $165,000.00/yr - $180,000.00/yr
