Clarity Consultants
Instructional Designer / Content Engineer
We are seeking a hands‑on Content Engineer to help architect and build a next‑generation technical enablement and certification ecosystem. This role plays a critical part in developing a scalable, component‑based, multi‑channel content framework that powers precise, personalized, and dynamic learning experiences for technical professionals. What You’ll Do
Content Modeling & Transformation
Apply and populate structured content models for technical enablement assets—including learning objectives, conceptual modules, procedures, and assessments. Work within established schemas, taxonomies, and metadata frameworks to ensure content is accurately tagged and easily retrievable. Deconstruct and transform source materials from technical documentation and SME input into modular, reusable content components. Systems Integration & Workflow Execution
Prepare and load content into core delivery platforms to enable dynamic, intelligent learning experiences. Validate content quality using established standards, rules, and automation pipelines. Use scripting and command‑line tools to build, maintain, and refine publishing and automation workflows. Execute and monitor localization workflows, partnering with vendors and internal teams to support scalable translation pipelines. Partner with content strategists, SMEs, engineering teams, and program managers to support content systems, authoring tools, and publishing workflows. Serve as a technical resource for structured authoring and content modeling best practices. Work closely with AI and learning innovation teams to prepare structured assets that support adaptive learning and personalized study experiences. Minimum Qualifications
3–5 years of experience in content engineering, information architecture, or a related technical role. Proven experience with component‑based content models and schemas. Strong understanding of taxonomy and metadata management. Experience with API‑driven content delivery and proficiency with command‑line interfaces. Familiarity with modern learning technology stacks. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in highly collaborative environments. Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical information into structured content systems. Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to high‑quality user experiences. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technical Communication, Information Science, or equivalent experience.
