Working remotely, you will collaborate closely with art directors to ensure a consistent "museum + tech" visual style, utilizing advanced rigging tools and motion graphics techniques. Deliverables
Produce clean, high-quality 2D character animations for children’s museum video projects
Utilize rigging tools such as DuIK and Joysticks to create smooth, expressive motion
Develop and refine vector-based motion graphics in After Effects
Prepare and organize animation assets for efficient workflow
Collaborate with art directors to maintain a cohesive visual style
Create simple storyboards or animatics as needed to communicate animation concepts
Deliver final animations according to project timelines and specifications
Requirements
Proven experience in 2D character animation and motion graphics, preferably for educational or children’s content
Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, including rigging tools like DuIK and Joysticks
Strong understanding of vector animation and asset preparation
Ability to interpret creative briefs and translate them into engaging visual stories
Excellent communication and collaboration skills for remote teamwork
Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
Experience developing storyboards or animatics is a plus
