UX Designer III (Supply Chain) – Blue Origin Application Close Date

This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which includes Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. It offers Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities. In this position you will design user‑centered tools that help procurement specialists find the right parts faster, planners optimize complex schedules, and engineers make critical decisions with confidence.

Responsibilities

Design intuitive user experiences for supply chain applications spanning procurement, planning, transportation, inventory management, and engineering decision support

Lead user research initiatives to understand pain points, workflows, and needs of supply chain stakeholders across multiple teams and functions

Create wireframes, prototypes, and high‑fidelity designs that translate complex supply chain data and processes into clear, actionable interfaces

Leverage AI and machine learning capabilities to enhance user workflows, automate routine tasks, and surface intelligent recommendations within applications

Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and supply chain subject matter experts to define requirements and deliver solutions that balance user needs with technical constraints

Conduct usability testing and iterate designs based on user feedback and usage analytics

Establish and maintain design systems and patterns that ensure consistency across supply chain tools

Champion user‑centered design principles and advocate for the end user in all product decisions

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Design (UX/UI, Interaction, Human‑Computer Interaction), Computer Science, or related field

3 + years of professional experience in UX/UI design, preferably enterprise or B2B applications

Proficiency in Figma for UI design, prototyping, and design system management

Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools and capabilities in the design process and to design AI‑powered features or interfaces

Strong portfolio showcasing end‑to‑end design projects, including research, wireframes, and final designs

Experience conducting user research and translating insights into actionable design decisions

Preferred Qualifications

Experience designing tools for supply chain, operations, logistics, or other complex enterprise domains

Familiarity with designing data‑heavy applications, dashboards, or decision‑support systems

Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design practices

Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments with engineering teams

Background in designing for AI/ML features such as predictive analytics, recommendations, or intelligent automation

Proficiency with additional design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or other prototyping tools

Compensation WA applicants: $137,049–$191,868.60.

Other site ranges may differ.

Location: Melbourne, FL. Salary range: $118,600–$178,000 (annual).
