Position Overview The Digital Marketing Specialist strengthens Carr Lane Manufacturing’s (CLM) presence across all digital platforms and marketing channels. This role focuses on content creation, email campaigns, social media, trade show support, and the coordination of external marketing partners. The ideal candidate is a creative storyteller with a strong eye for design and the ability to translate brand values into compelling visual and written content.
This role supervises and manages CLM’s external marketing team and third-party vendors (design, website, SEO, and digital advertising), ensuring alignment with CLM’s brand and strategic direction.
Key Responsibilities
Lead content creation for email marketing, social media posts, marketing collateral, promotional items, and CLM brand storytelling.
Supervise and manage external marketing partners, including web/SEO vendors, creative agencies, and advertising partners to ensure quality and alignment.
Coordinate trade shows and events, including pre-show email campaigns, booth content, promotional items, and post-show follow-up.
Maintain and manage CLM’s social media content calendar; ensure consistent, professional brand presence.
Develop basic performance reports (email, social, and campaign metrics) and direct vendors on optimization actions.
Support recruitment marketing and internal engagement in partnership with HR.
Ensure brand consistency across all content and collaborate with internal teams to gather product/engineering insights for marketing use.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, or related field strongly preferred.
2+ years of experience in digital marketing, content creation, or social media management.
Experience coordinating external partners, agencies, or vendors.
Familiarity with email marketing platforms and CRM/automation tools.
Working knowledge of SEO/SEM concepts (execution handled by vendors).
Strong writing skills and ability to produce clean, compelling content.
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, or Lightroom).
Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
Ability to work collaboratively across teams and communicate professionally with technical stakeholders.
Creative mindset with strong visual storytelling ability.
