Position Summary The Email Marketing and Content Specialist supports Sugarbush Resort and the Sales and Marketing Department with all facets of email marketing, audience and content creation and refinement, performance reporting, digital communications, content management, and the resort’s database.

This entry‑level role works under the Marketing Manager and V.P. of Sales and Marketing to manage the Sugarbush brand.

The position requires a data‑driven, team‑player mindset focused on high‑quality digital communications.

Responsibilities

Build and deploy HTML emails for marketing, sales, and communications.

Analyze, organize, and build audience lists in the Customer Data Platform.

Maintain a consistent database of tracking information for all online email communications—including open rates and click‑throughs—and identify opportunities to improve responses.

Prepare and share email marketing analytics and results to optimize messaging and timing.

Implement web copy, promotional content, home‑page updates, ad promos, and pricing with guidance from team members.

Work with departments to ensure accurate presentation and information across all digital channels (e.g., Sugarbush.com, Google Business, YouTube).

Manage and execute updates for all resort sectors, including content management for flatscreens, events calendar, blog, and the app.

Support the Graphic Designer with the digital asset management system and tag current visual assets. Aid in photo database maintenance.

Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to ensure all marketing tools are used properly to provide a cohesive online experience.

Continue refining Sugarbush's online presence with metadata, descriptions, and keywords.

Support all digital/online marketing, sales, or communication initiatives.

Collaborate with resort departments to guarantee posted information is timely and accurate.

Qualifications

Digital enthusiast passionate about all aspects of digital marketing.

Experience with SiteCore CMS, IBM Acoustic (formerly Silverpop), or another email service provider is a plus.

Self‑motivated team player with strong troubleshooting, problem‑solving, and multi‑tasking skills.

Fundamental knowledge of HTML with email marketing experience is required.

Ability to work both indoors and outdoors, including outdoor work in extreme weather, standing/ walking on snowy terrain, and accommodation of weekend and holiday shifts.

Effective communication skills over the telephone, computers, and in person.
