Adventure Tours is a luxury charter bus company headquartered in Accokeek, Maryland, with additional locations in NC, NY, PA & VA. We are looking for a business development and marketing manager to join our growing team. The primary role for this position is day‑to‑day incoming sales and marketing responsibilities. The position can grow, and we are looking for you to take on additional tasks to help Adventure Tours continued growth and development.

Requirements
Excellent analytical and communication skills, both verbal and written
Organized and detail‑oriented
Ability to handle difficult client interactions
Must be a “self‑starter” with strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to prioritize
Must be computer‑savvy; having used Coach Manager software in the past is a plus
Customer service experience
Transportation/tourism experience is a plus
Ability to successfully negotiate
Two+ years of sales experience
Experience with bid writing is a plus
Responsibilities
Entry of incoming sales requests into our customer database
Responding to quotes received within 2 hours
Answer phone calls and provide charter quotes to customers
Follow up with customers on any needs or requirements to close a sale(s)
Act as company liaison to passengers, clients, and partners
Assist in enhancing the sales process for better organization and closing ratios
Assist in updating company profiles and sites
Create reports needed for management
Create/follow up on marketing opportunities
Assist in generating outside sales leads
Attend transportation/tourism networking functions as they are scheduled
Assist with proposal & bid writing
Other tasks as assigned
