is recruiting a freelance Marketing Campaign Specialist (Senior Campaign Manager) for UnitedHealthcare’s Engagement Solutions team. The role focuses on end‑to‑end execution of targeted member marketing campaigns for the Public Sector, Labor & Trust (PSLT) segment.

Key Responsibilities

Project & Timeline Management – Develop detailed project plans, maintain realistic timelines, and adjust plans proactively to keep projects on track.

End‑to‑End Campaign Execution – Lead multi‑channel member communications, coordinate digital and print execution, and serve as the day‑to‑day execution lead.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration – Partner with the dedicated PSLT Marketing Consultant and collaborate with fulfillment, legal/privacy, digital, analytics, creative agencies, data teams, and consultants.

Creative & Channel Coordination – Brief, review, and refine campaign assets across print, digital, social, and video to support client goals.

Data‑Driven Targeting & Personalization – Leverage data and segmentation to create targeted, personalized communications and partner with analytics and data teams for audience selection.

Performance Reporting & Optimization – Assist in developing post‑campaign performance reports, identify learnings, and optimize future campaigns.

Process Improvement & SME Support – Review processes, recommend efficiencies, and serve as a subject‑matter expert on campaign execution best practices.

Stakeholder Communication – Provide clear, concise, and timely updates on project status, risks, dependencies, and influence cross‑functional teams.

Team & Culture The Engagement Solutions team is collaborative, fast‑paced, and highly matrixed, with an emphasis on accountability, proactive problem solving, and continuous improvement. Peer support encourages sharing and leveraging best practices.

Required Qualifications

5+ years of project management experience, including managing multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline‑driven environment.

3+ years of consumer marketing experience, preferably in campaign or program execution.

Proven ability to develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and stakeholder communications.

Strong planning, organizational, and time‑management skills with demonstrated success meeting tight deadlines.

Concise, candid, and professional verbal and written communication skills.

Set clear direction and lead cross‑functional teams without direct authority.

Operate as a proactive self‑starter with a strong sense of urgency, ownership, and adaptability to a fast‑paced environment.

Analyze issues, troubleshoot problems, recommend solutions, and exercise sound judgment.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.

Experience in the health care or health insurance industry (B2C or member‑focused).

Hands‑on experience with Workfront or a similar enterprise project management system.

Proven success working in a highly matrixed organization, building strong relationships across functions and levels.

Experience working effectively in environments with ambiguous or evolving direction.

Proven experience with integrated marketing practices and tools (print, email, digital, social, video).
