Base pay range $81,000.00/yr - $85,000.00/yr

The Office of Communication at Phillips Academy is seeking a strategic, collaborative

Editorial Design Manager

with a passion for storytelling and brand expression. This role develops multichannel design solutions that engage a wide range of audiences, including alumni, faculty, staff, students, parents, and prospective families. Reporting to the Director of Editorial and Internal Communications, the successful candidate will bring a fresh, innovative approach to legacy print pieces and digital platforms; help maintain brand consistency while evolving new expressions; and partner closely with colleagues across campus. A key responsibility of this role includes the art management, design, and production of

Andover magazine , published four times per year and recognized for its excellence.

To be considered for this position a portfolio of recent work is required.

Minimum qualifications

Minimum of 8 years of professional graphic design or related experience.

Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, InCopy).

Experience with print production, asset management, and project management systems.

Strong visual problem-solving skills and ability to translate concepts into effective design solutions.

Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Familiarity with inclusive and user-centered design practices preferred.
