Base Pay Range $60,000.00/yr – $70,000.00/yr

Role Summary The Public Relations Coordinator will be a key member of the Fellowships' Global Marketing and Communications team and growing PR unit. This position is based in our Chicago headquarters (Hybrid). The Coordinator will work on media relations, content development, reporting & analytics, and online reputation management, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, vendors, and partners.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Public Relations, Communications, Marketing or Advertising, or equivalent experience.
3–5 years of public relations experience with agency experience preferred.
Experience in a faith‑based or humanitarian organization preferred.
Key Responsibilities Media Relations Support
Assist the PR Manager with media relations activities, including drafting and sending media pitches and press releases, building and maintaining media lists, and coordinating media opportunities.
Content Development Support
Help develop and maintain media kits, press center and intranet content.
Help curate commentary, stories, photo, and video assets weekly for PR use.
Reporting & Analytics
Maintain US PR coverage tracker and assist global teams in entering monthly coverage into the Global tracker.
Assist in developing monthly US PR reports and other reports as needed.
Online Reputation Management (ORM)
Maintain awards & honors tracker and related research and applications.
Arrange ORM & awards meetings as needed.
General PR Management & Administration
Prepare meeting agendas and recaps.
Assist with meeting scheduling and agency management.
Standard Operating Procedures
Identify opportunities to update SOP documents to keep institutional knowledge current.
Technical & Individual Skills
Ability to project manage, multitask and work well under tight deadlines.
Excellent organizational abilities and highly detail‑oriented.
Understanding of or interest in learning about Christian‑Jewish relations.
Excellent interpersonal skills critical for relationship building.
Excellent writing and editing skills, ability to develop compelling copy.
Solid understanding of media landscape and media relations process, as well as PR reporting.
Understanding of crisis PR.
Experience working in Microsoft Office 365 Suite.
Experience with media monitoring tools.
