Lead Audio Visual Estimator (Commercial) – Remote

Salary: USD $80,000.00 – $115,000.00 per year.
Job Summary
The AV Estimator will be highly skilled in the design of advanced professional audio, video and video conferencing solutions in the audio visual commercial integration industry. This lead role requires expertise in creating and managing complex AV system designs.
Job Duties And Responsibilities
Review site surveys, design customer solutions based on requirements, estimate, and produce documentation for sales presentations, system installation, and control system programming scopes.
Produce advanced audio visual designs including control flow diagrams, video and audio components.
Read architectural, mechanical and electrical (MEP) drawing sets.
Design with latest AV products including AMX, Biamp, Crestron, Extron, Panasonic, Polycom, BSS, and Cisco.
Prepare proposals and designs for audiovisual system integrations and installations.
Create construction and system integration documents (CAD drawings, blueprints, CSI specifications).
Communicate and coordinate technical design solutions with clients, installation teams, and vendors.
Provide high‑end technical support to sales and technical staff on both pre‑ and post‑sales basis, attending project meetings.
Contribute to design review and code review as required.
Develop and maintain knowledge of current and new technologies offered by the company.
Other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
High School diploma or GED equivalency; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
3–4 years of overall audio visual commercial integration industry experience as a hands‑on A/V design professional on commercial integration projects.
Proven track record in audio visual systems engineering and control systems commissioning.
Ability to write scope of work and finalize system deployment and build‑out.
AutoCAD and Visio experience (preferred).
Ability to work well with others.
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, MS Project).
Meet company minimum driving standards.
Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.
Demonstrated verifiable ability to define a project, create a scope of work, develop detailed tasks, and manage them to completion and customer turnover.
Minimum Requirements
