Event Technician, Audio Visual (Part Time) - Atlanta Role offered by Encore. The event technician is responsible for set up and operation of basic audio‑visual systems in a hospitality environment, ensuring customer satisfaction. The position reports to an Operations Manager, Operations Director, or Director of Event Technology. Key Job Responsibilities Accurately set up, operate, and break down basic audio‑visual equipment as listed in technical qualifications. Exceed expectations and needs of internal and external customers through effective communication. Attend guest events on site to ensure equipment functionality and provide support throughout the day. Troubleshoot and resolve equipment and software issues, maintaining professionalism and timing. Follow company procedures, complete system entry and paperwork, and enter orders in Navigator as required. Collaborate with other staff and vendors regarding equipment. Use floor‑up‑selling techniques to increase revenue where appropriate. Finalize invoices with clients and complete order entries. Job Qualifications High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred. One year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred. One year of audio‑visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment preferred. Valid driver's license required for company vehicle use; additional DOT requirements may apply. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
