About The Role
The Graphic Designer will be a creative powerhouse—detail-oriented, trend-savvy, and passionate about pushing the Chicago Bears brand forward. As a key member of our design team, you will contribute to the development and expression of the Chicago Bears brand across digital and physical touchpoints. You’ll help ensure every creative asset—whether for brand campaigns, promotional materials, social and motion graphics, publications, logos, ads, and environmental installations—reflect our visual identity and strengthen our connection with consumers.
The ideal candidate has a versatile, well-crafted portfolio that demonstrates a strong understanding of visual storytelling and brand systems. The Graphic Designer role is a full-time salaried position working out of our corporate office in Lake Forest, IL. Candidates must be open to working non-traditional hours including evenings, weekends and holidays, as needed.

Responsibilities
Consistently develops and produces top tier creative concepts across multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining speed, quality, and working under pressure with tight deadlines
Translates brand strategy and guidelines into cohesive visual expressions that enhance storytelling and drive consumer engagement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand design requirements and deliver high-quality visual content that exceeds projects goals and expectations
Takes initiative to identify design opportunities and propose creative solutions without prompting
Proactive designer who raises their hand for opportunities and brings positive energy to every project
Eager to learn, open to feedback, and driven to keep evolving as a designer and teammate
Ensure all graphic outputs align with brand identity and tone
Ensures standards of the department and continuity of the Chicago Bears brand are met
Contribute to creative brainstorming sessions and help shape the visual direction of campaigns and initiatives by contributing creative ideas and perspectives
Support the Brand Creative culture of collaboration, positivity, excellence and creative problem-solving
Contribute ideas across departments to elevate the overall brand experience
Ensure all deliverables and deadlines are met on time, and within budget
Manages and monitors projects through all stages of production, proactively identifying issues and keeping work moving smoothly toward completion
Serves as a production assistant during photo shoots
Manages internal and external use of logos to ensure brand integrity
Represents the Brand Creative team with professionalism, enthusiasm, and a clear vision, fostering collaboration and respect across the organization.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or a related field or a relevant certification and 4+ years of equivalent professional experience
Minimum of 2 years professional full-time design experience with a wide range of creative projects, both print and digital. Experience working in the sports and/or entertainment industry preferred
Proficient with current versions of Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and Microsoft Office products
Animation/motion skills are a plus
Must be familiar with various file format, image formatting, compression, file correction, and optimization, have strong conceptual thinking, typography skills, and basic photography experience Knowledge of HTML, and CSS Web design skills are a plus
Possess strong professional communication skills including the ability to establish a rapport with others and build relationships with a variety of personalities
Possess the ability to take direction and understand pre-press/pre-flight and printing process
Must be able to effectively work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate the ability to juggle multiple competing projects. This includes meeting daily deadlines.
Exceptional organizational skills and a commitment to quality creative work
Must be dependable, willing to take initiative and adapt to a variety of situations
Ability to work non-traditional hours in non-traditional settings which may include weekends and holidays

Competitive Industry Pay
The Graphic Designer is a full-time non-contract position. This position is a SALARY (exempt) role. The expected salary range for this role is $63,000 - $68,000 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and other job-related factors.
