JOB DESCRIPTION
POSITION:
Technical Writer
DURATION: Long Term End Client:
Texas Commission on Environmental Quality
Location:
Austin, TX - ONSITE
NO. of Positions: 3 No OPT's or CPT's Last Date for Submission: 02/10/2024
1. Working with the TCEQ staff to develop technical product documentation for end-users of the Texas Air Emissions Repository (TexAER) database.
2. Developing, outlining, formatting, and producing detailed program and end-user documentation with appropriate visualizations. Documentation may include tutorials, user guides, troubleshooting manuals, and reference manuals.
3. Gathering and documenting staff feedback on draft documents. Incorporate user-requested changes as directed by the supervisor.
4. Producing video tutorials as requested by the program area, which meet TCEQ, DIR and World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) specifications and standards.
5. Communicating and working with people of all technical levels in a team environment.
