The Reno Aces, Triple-A affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks, are Northern Nevada's premier professional sports organization. POSITION SUMMARY The Baseball Communications Coordinator assists the Communications Manager with baseball communications, including game notes, game recaps, player features, stats, and publications. In addition to helping in player interviews and other media requests assigned.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES Key contributor in producing 150 Reno Aces Game and Media Notes for all home and away games Write and distribute game recaps for all home games, and away games as assigned Produce and distribute daily game day items, including stat packs and rosters Write editorial feature stories in addition to series previews and recaps for the club's website Assist in pitching stories and handling interviews with local and national media Identify and utilize emerging and non-traditional media platforms to maximize reach around Northern Nevada Support in the production of the annual Reno Aces Media Guide Provide support in press box at all 75 home games Assist in marketing and player operations, as needed Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS
Positive attitude and willingness to learn Proven track record of hitting deadlines Strong writing background with exceptional communication skills Robust knowledge of baseball statistics, trends, and rules Sound attention to detail and detailed organizational skills Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe InDesign & Photoshop) Proficient in Microsoft Office (Microsoft Word & Excel), Google Sheets & Docs, and Dropbox Highly skilled AP writing skills, including press releases, recaps, previews, and features. Ability to work all Aces games (home games at Greater Nevada Field and away games remotely) Knowledge of MLB Okta (MLB Reference Tool & Forge), Sports Info Solutions, and Baseball References Basic skills in video content creation Spanish-speaking is a plus Completion of a satisfactory background check BENEFITS

Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds. Must be able to talk, listen, and communicate clearly through multiple communications platforms daily. Must be able to stand on the concourse during games for 3 hours at a time
