Architectural Photographer – Charlotte, NC

CoStar Group (NASDAQ: CSGP), a global leader in real‑estate information and online marketplaces, is seeking an Architectural Photographer to produce high‑quality photos and videos for its industry‑leading properties portals such as Apartments.com, Homes.com, and LoopNet.com.

Responsibilities

  • Produce interior and exterior media of multifamily, office, industrial, and retail properties, using cameras, tilt‑shift lenses, drones, gimbals, sliders, and 3‑D tour equipment.
  • Create compelling exterior media for residential neighborhoods, parks, and schools.
  • Travel up to a week per month or as determined by business needs.
  • Determine optimal times of day, seasons, and locations for each assignment.
  • Edit all photography and video in a timely fashion to deliver a completed project.
  • Communicate professionally with clients throughout scheduling, setup, and on‑site interactions.
  • Continuously develop skills by staying current with new techniques, technology, and industry trends.

Basic Qualifications

  • Demonstrable experience as a professional Real‑Estate or Architectural Photographer.
  • Strong portfolio of architectural, real‑estate, and exterior lifestyle media (photos, videos, drone footage).
  • Minimum of a high‑school diploma or GED plus 4+ years of professional experience.
  • Expert knowledge of manual camera settings, lighting, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro).
  • Experience with Mac OS and Microsoft Office.
  • FAA Part 107 Drone License, obtained within 30 days of hire.
  • Capability to lift, carry, and maneuver equipment up to 25 lbs.
  • Permanent U.S. work authorization and valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to rent a car and drive up to 2 hours for company travel; occasional night or weekend availability.
  • Completion of a driving record check before starting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Creative problem‑solving for photographing buildings and neighborhoods across suburban and city environments.
  • Strong relationship‑building skills with key contacts at assigned companies.
  • Flexibility, multitasking, and time‑management skills in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Experience in commercial drone photography is desirable.
  • Ability to capture and edit high‑quality interior and exterior property videos and photographs.
  • Deep understanding of best practices for architectural photography, with a strong artistic vision.
