Job SummaryWe are looking for a detail-oriented SEO Executive specializing in On-Page Optimization tojoin our growing EdTech team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing andmanaging on-page SEO strategies that improve website visibility, optimize content performance,and enhance the overall user experience, ultimately driving organic traffic and lead generation.

Department: Digital Marketing

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive on-page SEO audits and implement optimization strategies.
  • Optimize website content, meta titles, descriptions, headers, alt tags, and internal linking structure.
  • Collaborate with content writers and developers to ensure SEO best practices are applied.
  • Perform keyword research and integrate high-performing keywords into content.
  • Monitor website performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEMrush.
  • Improve website speed, mobile responsiveness, and overall technical SEO factors affecting on-page ranking.
  • Create and maintain SEO-friendly URLs, sitemaps, and schema markup.
  • Track, analyze, and report on key SEO metrics to measure performance and ROI.
  • Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, Google algorithm updates, and EdTech industry practices.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of proven experience as an SEO Executive (On-Page), preferably within the EdTech industry.
  • Strong understanding of on-page SEO techniques, Google ranking factors, and

Keyword optimization

  • Hands-on experience with SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Yoast SEO, or Screaming Frog.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Drupal).
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and keyword research tools.
  • Excellent English writing skills with the ability to create and optimize content.
  • Solid knowledge of on-page optimization strategies.
  • Familiarity with Google algorithm updates and their impact on SEO performance.
  • Good understanding of EXL (if this refers to a specific tool/process, clarify in JD).
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
