Responsibilities
Operate all necessary and advanced studio equipment and supporting equipment for all shows, live shots, and remote productions across CNN networks.
Serve as the sole individual responsible for flash studio and sub‑control room operation for single or multiple camera inserts for network shows.
Shade and chip cameras, maintain studio, route and preserve the quality of incoming and outgoing video and audio.
Multitask by operating several cameras simultaneously and communicate across all CNN networks.
Provide in‑depth training to less knowledgeable staff while troubleshooting and training on new technologies. Train new employees.
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a broadcast television environment, preferably in multiple camera production or news production.
Proficiency in using a studio robotic camera system.
Skill in camera shading and chipping.
Knowledge of routing systems and transmission.
Strong teamwork, diplomacy, and work ethic.
Willingness to work weekend shows as part of a 24/7 news operation.
