DoubleTree Salt Lake City Airport - Audio Visual Attendant Address 5151 W Wiley Post Way, Salt Lake City, UT, 84116 Job Description Installs and maintains audio and visual equipment. Set-up, operate, and troubleshoot all AV/projection/lighting/conferencing equipment, devices, and systems. QUALIFICATIONS Typically requires accreditation from a technical school or an applicable skilled trades program and 0 to 2 years of experience. Performs work under direct supervision. Handles basic issues and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff. Possesses beginning to working knowledge of subject matter. RESPONSIBILITIES Operates equipment to enhance effects of sound and display at live events. Sets up lighting, sound devices, and video and projection devices. Coordinates audio with visual displays. Assist and instruct guests/customers regarding proper usage and operation of AV equipment, up-sell different AV services, and monitor equipment operation at appropriate intervals. Break-down, remove, and secure equipment when not in use. Test and resolve technical issues. Check delivered equipment and room set-up against Banquet Event Order. Oversee the set-up of AV equipment in banquet and meeting rooms. Communicate any additions or deletions to flowsheets to manager/supervisor. Works with event directors to add enhancements. Any other duties as assigned by manager.
