PT Library Assistant - 18 hours week - Moorestown Library The Moorestown Library is seeking an enthusiastic individual to provide excellent customer service in the position of Library Assistant . DESCRIPTION: This is a part-time, 18 hour per week position including weekday afternoon shifts and up to 3 Saturdays and 1 Sunday a month. Answers phone and routes calls accordingly. Welcomes patrons entering the library. Registers new patrons, updates cards, and renews expired library cards. Checks material in/out. Assists patrons with information requests and/or finding material. Fields reference & assistance questions to appropriate staff. Handles basic math calculations with precision; collects donations and fees. Shelves returned materials Manages requests/holds QUALIFICATIONS: Prior library experience preferred Excellent computer skills with the ability to learn new technology quickly Customer-focused: warm, friendly, helpful, courteous, and energetic with a positive attitude Able to lift books, stand, shelve on low and high shelves TO APPLY: Submit a cover letter, resume and three professional references to “Good Faith” Salary, Range, or Rate of Pay SALARY and BENEFITS: $16 hour plus sick and vacation pay and enrollment in retirement program #J-18808-Ljbffr
