Encore Talent Solutions is currently seeking a Web Developer for a full time position located in Cincinnati, OH. This is a hybrid position with a flexible schedule. Team members work together in the office at least 3 days per week, depending on meetings and client needs. The goal is to maintain flexibility while still benefiting from in-person collaboration.
Job Description We’re looking for a skilled web developer who understands the fundamentals of programming and can adapt to different platforms and frameworks. While you’ll primarily work on Shopify e-commerce sites today, you’ll need the foundation to grow with us as clients’ tech stacks evolve.
Your day-to-day will involve building and maintaining e-commerce experiences on Shopify, along with projects on WordPress, Sanity, and Next.js. You’ll work primarily on the frontend, crafting interfaces that are both beautiful and functional. Full-stack experience is a strong plus—we value developers who can work across the entire application when needed.
Experience
Strong grasp of programming fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, design patterns)
Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frontend development
Experience with React and component-based architecture
Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles
Background in UI/UX—an eye for design and an understanding of user interaction
Shopify development experience (Liquid, theme customization, app extensions) is a plus but not required if you have strong fundamentals
Nice To Have Experience
Full-stack development experience
Familiarity with headless CMS architectures
Experience with WordPress theme/plugin development
Understanding of e-commerce best practices and conversion optimization
Git workflow proficiency
