Officer

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief Marketing Officer to lead our marketing efforts within a financial services environment. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in developing and executing marketing strategies that drive growth, enhance brand reputation, and support client acquisition. Experience in a law firm or professional services setting is highly desirable.
Duties of this position include, but are not limited to the following:
Define and oversee the firm’s marketing and business development plan, ensuring it aligns with the company’s objectives.
Contribute to the firm’s overall strategy and presenting findings to the management committee.
Partner with business development teams to create campaigns that attract and retain high-value clients.
Oversee client segmentation and targeted marketing programs.
Develop and execute comprehensive brand and digital marketing strategies, including social media, content marketing, and email campaigns.
Monitor key performance indicators, conduct market research, and use data-driven insights to optimize marketing efforts, improve the customer journey, and maximize lead generation.

Create and manage the marketing budget, track expenses, and ensure marketing investments generate a strong return on investment (ROI).

Manage public relations, crisis communications, and external messaging to protect and enhance the firm’s reputation.
Ensure web presence and web site is maintained, develop innovative marketing programs like white papers / blogs / pod casts / and other content.
Support the CEO who is marketing focused in executing a strategy of heightened brand awareness amongst law firms and industry participants.
Education, Experience, And Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (MBA preferred).
10 years of marketing leadership experience in financial services; law firm experience a strong plus.
Proven success in strategic planning, brand management, and digital marketing.
Strong understanding of compliance and regulatory considerations in financial and legal industries.
Proven experience leading marketing teams and driving growth.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
Expertise in marketing technology platforms and analytics tools.
Experience in the financial services or legal industry is often required, with an understanding of the unique marketing challenges and opportunities in these sectors.
Ability to balance creative vision with data-driven decision-making.
Strong experience with market research, data analysis, and reporting to measure performance.
Strong leadership and team-building capabilities.
Strong existing network with business leaders and attorneys.
