Mogul
Mogul helps artists understand, track, and register their royalties all from one place. We’re building the financial operating system for music rights, giving creators clarity over the money they’ve already earned but haven’t collected. We work with emerging artists, chart‑toppers, and enterprise clients across the industry to make royalty accounting and rights registration simple and transparent.
We’re looking for a hands‑on, creative‑meets‑analytical Head of Marketing who loves music, understands artists, and thrives in 0→1 environments. This role is senior and considered a peer to the existing co‑founders. You will define how Mogul shows up to the world, shape our promise to musicians and their teams, and build the growth engine that brings the next 100,000 musicians onto the platform.
What You’ll Do You’ll own Mogul’s brand and growth engine end‑to‑end shaping our story, defining how we reach musicians and managers, and running hands‑on experiments to acquire and retain users. From refining our messaging to building our acquisition channels from scratch, you’ll drive Mogul’s next stage of audience growth and market presence.
Own, refine, and evolve the Mogul brand voice, narrative, design, and promise.
Audit all company messaging and positioning to ensure Mogul’s value is clearly communicated to artists, managers, and rights‑holders.
Ensure our brand shows up consistently across product, content, partnerships, and community.
Build upon Mogul’s existing customer acquisition strategy
Identify the most effective channels (paid, organic, influencer, partnerships, etc) to reach musicians and music managers.
Develop and execute multi‑channel growth campaigns that drive measurable expansion of our user base.
Work directly with product, leadership, and operations to ensure marketing aligns with product experience and customer needs.
Initially operate as a highly hands‑on marketing co‑founder‑type: writing copy, building campaigns, testing channels, analyzing data.
Over time, scale and mentor a small team across brand, content, and growth.
Who You Are
5–10+ years of growth marketing or brand marketing experience, ideally within a startup or creator‑economy/music‑tech environment.
A rare hybrid: creative enough to craft a compelling brand story, analytical enough to break down CAC channels, and scrappy enough to run the experiments yourself.
Experience taking products from 0→1, ideally where you set the initial positioning and built the early growth engine.
You understand the music ecosystem, or can quickly learn it.
You can write, design, edit, test, measure, and iterate without ego.
You love artists, believe in transparency, and care about helping them unlock what they’re owed.
