Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our team full-time. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for design, a practical understanding of commercial interiors, and the ability to translate client needs into innovative, functional solutions. The candidate will be responsible for design support and showroom curation.
Showroom Curator Responsibilities:
Keep showroom visually compelling and up-to-date
Updating showroom signage and product pricing
Ordering and organizing product and finish samples
Direct design support for walk‑in customers
Other Key Responsibilities / Interior Design Support:
Develop space plans, layouts, and 3D renderings for commercial projects of varying scales
Collaborate closely with sales consultants, project managers, and clients to understand project goals and design intent
Prepare finish palettes, furniture specifications, and installation drawings using AutoCAD, CET Designer, or 2020 GIZA software
Create professional design presentations and client proposals
Ensure designs comply with building codes, accessibility, and ergonomic standards
Support bid and proposal submissions, including accurate pricing and product details
Organizing, maintain and inventory the interior design library
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
1–3 years of experience in commercial interior design or contract furniture
Proficiency in AutoCAD, CET Designer (Configura), 2020 GIZA is a plus
Strong understanding of space planning, ergonomics, and workplace trends
Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills
Familiarity with major contract furniture lines (HON, Kimball, AIS, JSI, SitOnIt, etc.) is highly preferred
