About the Role As the Growth & Creative Marketing Lead at Preffect, you’ll own and execute the end‑to‑end marketing strategy that drives user acquisition, engagement, and brand visibility for our AI native Health & Wellness app, available from the App Store here: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/preffect/id6741119391.

This is initially a hands‑on individual contributor (IC) role, with room to expand as our team and user base grow. You will manage our marketing engine end‑to‑end, spanning strategy, execution, creative production, and channel ownership. You’ll own campaign ideation, asset creation, paid channel setup, App Store optimization, and ongoing experimentation. You’ll work closely with our UX Lead to produce compelling marketing visuals and copy, leveraging cutting‑edge AI tools to rapidly produce multimedia content that reinforce and build our brand. You will partner with Product and Engineering to align growth initiatives with product milestones, and play a foundational role in revolutionizing Consumer Health & Wellness.

Responsibilities Growth Strategy & Execution

Build and own Preffect’s comprehensive growth strategy across paid, organic, and lifecycle channels.

Plan, execute, and iterate marketing campaigns across the Apple App Store, Instagram, TikTok, Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and emerging high‑impact platforms.

Run structured experimentation to refine acquisition funnels, creative performance, and retention levers.

Leverage analytics, user insights, and rapid experimentation to guide decision‑making and accelerate learning.

Creative Production

Produce high quality, conversion‑focused marketing assets spanning visuals, motion graphics, short‑form videos, and user‑facing copy.

Collaborate closely with the UX Lead to maintain a cohesive, differentiated brand identity.

Use cutting‑edge AI tools to accelerate content creation, streamline iteration, and scale creative testing.

Own the creation and optimization of App Store assets through rigorous ASO practices.

Channel Ownership & Optimization

Manage paid social and paid search channels end to end, including setup, targeting, optimization, and scaling.

Drive App Store Optimization across metadata, visual assets, category strategy, and A/B testing.

Build and refine marketing processes covering attribution, creative iteration, funnel diagnostics, and performance reporting.

Identify, test, and validate new high‑potential acquisition channels and tactics.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

Partner with Product to align growth initiatives with feature launches, user insights, and product roadmaps.

Collaborate with Engineering and monitor analytics to ensure robust tracking, instrumentation, and performance visibility.

Work closely with leadership to evolve Preffect’s acquisition strategy, growth narrative, and brand voice.

Minimum Qualifications

✔️ 5+ years of experience in growth marketing, performance marketing, or creative marketing at a consumer‑facing tech company or mobile app.

✔️ Demonstrated ability to own strategy while executing hands‑on across multiple acquisition channels.

✔️ Strong experience designing and producing marketing creatives, including visuals and copy.

✔️ Deep familiarity with paid social, paid search, or mobile acquisition channels.

✔️ Experience running creative and funnel experiments using data‑driven insights.

✔️ Understanding of App Store Optimization and mobile growth fundamentals.

✔️ Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced early‑stage startup environment.

✔️ Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

⭐ Experience marketing Consumer Health & Wellness products.

⭐ Expertise with short‑form content creation and social media best practices.

⭐ Familiarity with mobile analytics, attribution tools, and creative testing platforms.

⭐ Experience scaling a mobile app from early traction to high growth.

⭐ Comfort working directly with Product and Design teams in highly iterative workflows.

Compensation & Location

Compensation: $150K annual salary, plus equity based on candidate experience and strength.

Benefits: Health insurance with dental and vision, HSA / FSA, life insurance, 401(k).

Location: Initially remote, but candidates must be based in the SF Bay Area for in‑person collaboration as needed.
