About SeriesFest SeriesFest is a nonprofit organization dedicated to championing artists at the forefront of episodic storytelling. Through our annual festival (May 6–10, 2026), year-round programming, and educational initiatives, we empower creators and elevate diverse voices in the television and digital content space.

Position Summary SeriesFest is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to support our Marketing Manager in executing existing marketing initiatives while contributing to the development of new strategies. The ideal candidate is a creative, detail-oriented communicator with a strong foundation in digital marketing, social media, email marketing, and design. Experience with public relations, branding, media partnerships, and event-based activations is a plus.

This role will focus on our annual festival while also supporting overlapping year-round initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Promote SeriesFest’s mission and programs across digital and print channels

Support implementation of brand strategy using existing brand assets

Capture photo and video content at events, including off-site education programs, events, and fundraisers

Create engaging visual and written content for:

Social media

Email newsletters

Website pages and blog posts

Marketing collateral and presentations

Manage social media publishing, community engagement, live event content, and partner content

Create and maintain website content (templated)

Monitor and summarize website, email, and social media metrics to support decision-making

Fulfill media buys

Organize, archive, and maintain marketing content and assets according to established framework

Support marketing-related administrative tasks (scheduling, billing, shipping, file management)

Support specific campaigns or channels from planning through execution, contributing creative ideas and helping ensure timely delivery

Preferred Qualifications

Associate degree (minimum) in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, PR, Graphic Design—or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience in marketing, communications, or a related field (whether through paid work, internships, freelance projects, or community initiatives)

Analytics & Strategy

Understanding of digital marketing KPIs

Experience using Meta Insights, Google Analytics, etc.

Informed on industry trends and benchmarks

Copywriting & Editing

Skilled at writing for varied audiences and formats

Familiarity with AP Style

Design & Content Creation

Strong grasp of basic layout and design principles

Ability to make basic edits to photos and video, such as selecting, resizing, trimming, and adjusting content for digital platforms

Experience managing and publishing content on business social media accounts, including scheduling, engagement, and performance tracking

Experience building decks or promotional materials

Email & Web

Experience running professional email marketing campaigns using Mailchimp, including list management, content creation, and performance analysis

Creating & maintaining web content in WordPress

Understanding of SEO and accessibility best practices

Work Schedule Please note: Candidates are expected to provide their own working equipment, including a laptop, cell phone, and DSLR camera for content capture, as needed.

This is a hybrid position based in Denver, CO. Team members are expected to work in the office on our regular in-person days: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. While the standard work week follows typical business hours, some evenings and weekends are required for events, programs, and special initiatives. Weekly schedules may shift based on team priorities and event timelines.
