Job Summary / Basic Function

Provide customer service and support to students using the Computer Literacy Center (CLC).

Responsible for the basic operations of the Computer Literacy Center.

Administering exams entrusted to the CLC.

Ensure clean, safe, and efficient operation of center.

Assist Supervisor or CLC Director as needed.

Learn to create Online Learning Modules for the Computer Literacy Center.

Creating digital projects (Online Learning Modules) as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Must have completed NTM 1700 (or equivalent) with a grade of “B” or higher.

Potential candidates must have good communication and customer service skills through work or volunteer experiences.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledgeable in Microsoft Suite.

Bilingual/Spanish speaking.

Physical Requirements of this position Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or consistently to move objects, including the human body. Sitting most of the time. Walking and standing only occasionally if ever.

Visual Acuity Requirements Required to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; using a computer terminal; extensive reading.

Conditions of Work The worker will not be substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
