Responsibilities The student worker’s primary responsibilities include administrative assistance, providing access to library materials and services through circulation and reference help, collections and shelf maintenance, running the Library Latté under the supervision of professional library staff, and providing general support as needed. You should be available to work mornings (8 a.m. – 11 a.m.), middays (11 a.m. – 1 p.m.), and afternoons (1 p.m. – 4 p.m.) Monday – Thursday (with a preference for Wednesdays). Flexibility on hours may be required.
Qualifications
Currently enrolled in at least one credit hour for the upcoming semester
Federal work study eligibility is preferred, but not required
High proficiency in reading, speaking, and writing in English
May be requested to authorize the College to procure a consumer report(s) for employment purposes

Skills
Detail‑oriented with good analytical skills
Can work independently and in group settings
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Previous customer service and/or food service experience preferred
Strong interpersonal skills, including courtesy, conflict resolution, and self‑awareness
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines with and without direct supervision
Able to reach, bend, stoop, lift, and push up to 30 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodations

Salary: $9.00 per hour
