Job Title: Graphic Designer

Immediate Supervisor: Director of Marketing and Communications

The St. Louis Area Foodbank seeks an innovative Graphic Designer to join our team. The Graphic Designer is responsible for producing high-quality content that communicates the Foodbank’s mission and work to a variety of audiences. Working with stakeholders across the organization, the Graphic Designer will ideate, plan, design, and execute designs for use across all mediums (print, digital, website, social media, etc). Working in WordPress, the Graphic Designer will ensure that the St. Louis Area Foodbank website is always current, both in content and in function. This individual will track performance analytics and use those metrics to continuously optimize content. The Graphic Designer will be responsible for the creation and editing of video and photography to help convey the mission and vision of the St. Louis Area Foodbank. The Graphic Designer will be responsible for the creation of flyers, brochures, displays and other physical branding. Content Strategy & Development

Develop, write, and design compelling content for a wide array of materials, including brochures, flyers, signs, banners, presentations, articles, and videos. Translate complex or technical information into clear, concise messaging tailored for targeted audiences, aligning with brand tone and strategic objectives. Edit and refine existing content to ensure alignment with brand guidelines, strategic goals, and target audience needs. Collaborate closely with multiple internal departments and stakeholders to extract key insights and ensure consistent messaging and storytelling across all regions and functions. Oversee content timelines and deliverables for special marketing projects and campaigns. Assist in planning and promotion of event-related messaging and materials. Digital & Web Management

Manage and update the content and layout of stlfoodbank.org (WordPress), including blog posts, engagement opportunities, events, and regular page maintenance. Develop and design digital marketing materials, including emails, display ads, social media graphics, and landing pages for the website. Work with internal teams to ensure accuracy of information, performance, and SEO refinement of website content. Monitor and report on web analytics and performance of the website and social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.). Assist in the creation and execution of digital campaigns that amplify content reach and effectiveness. Develop and maintain a digital toolkit for use by external stakeholders. Branding & Design

Own and enforce the St. Louis Area Foodbank’s brand and content guidelines with internal and external stakeholders. Develop and design all required print materials as requested by stakeholders, ensuring they are on‑brand and clearly convey the vision and mission. Serve as an internal expert, assisting stakeholders in ensuring materials bearing the SLAFB name are visually and conceptually aligned with the organization’s mission. Visual Media

Serve as photographer/videographer as requested for organizational needs. Produce and edit raw video footage into cohesive stories that convey the Foodbank’s mission and vision. Create graphics for social media and digital campaigns. Other duties as assigned. Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a similar relevant area. Expertise working in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro). Expertise working in Content Management Systems such as WordPress. Proficient in Canva. Experience compiling and analyzing web performance reports. Video editing skills. Proficiency in SharePoint would be a plus. Ability to meet deadlines while managing a multitude of projects simultaneously. Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills. Excellent attention to detail. Demonstrated creative problem-solving and adaptability. Ability to work well with and build consensus among diverse internal and external stakeholders. Must be able to pass pre‑employment criminal background checks and drug screening. The impact you’ll make:
