We’re Rycor (www.rycorhvac.com)—the largest, fastest‑growing heat pump installer in the U.S.—expanding across the Southeast. We’re hiring an In‑Home Heat Pump Sales Designer to drive growth in our new Durham location.
Why this role matters
Launch and grow a new market with a proven leader in residential comfort systems.
Own the in‑home experience—from first conversation to signed agreement.
Translate measurements and BTU calculations into smart, efficient system designs.
What you’ll do
Conduct persuasive sales presentations and live product demos.
Meet prospects at homes or businesses for face‑to‑face consultations.
Measure, photograph, and map out equipment layouts for proper heating and cooling.
Assess needs and recommend tailored solutions that align with customer goals.
Negotiate pricing and terms; close deals to hit revenue targets.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery and customer satisfaction.
Track competitors and trends to identify new opportunities.
Provide clear sales reports, pipeline updates, and forecasts to management.
Represent Rycor at trade shows and industry events.
What you’ll bring
Proven sales or account management experience—preferably in‑home.
Excellent communication skills and relationship‑building ability.
Strong negotiation and closing capability.
Self‑motivated, target‑driven, and consistent in hitting goals.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Hands‑on experience with CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
