Position Summary

The Client Relations and Marketing Manager plays an important role in strengthening T&G’s presence in the Central Florida construction market. This role blends strategic communication, relationship development, and marketing leadership to support long‑term business growth and client engagement. You will collaborate closely with the Vice President and serve as a visible representative of T&G within the business community. This position requires excellent writing ability, strong networking skills, comfort with public interaction, and the ability to manage multiple fast‑moving priorities. You will support client relations, proposal development, marketing initiatives, and community engagement. This role is based in our Orlando office.

Responsibilities Client Relations Develop and maintain a realistic annual business development plan for Central Florida in partnership with the Vice President. Research prospective clients and understand key value drivers for positioning T&G. Initiate contact with potential clients and build early‑stage relationships. Attend community events, trade organizations, and association functions to expand T&G’s network. Stay informed about upcoming opportunities and strategically position T&G for RFQs and RFPs. Attend preconstruction meetings, pre‑bid briefings, and project submittal sessions. Prepare and support delivery of RFPs, bid packages, and proposal documents. Collaborate with A/E firms to identify project opportunities. Track leads and maintain accurate CRM records for business development activity. Manage annual client gifts and branded promotional items.

RFPs and RFQs Work closely with Marketing and Preconstruction teams to prepare qualifications packages, bid responses, and proposal materials. Lead writing, organization, and quality control for proposals and presentations. Coordinate signatures and document submissions for T&G, consultants, and subcontractors. Request public records for post‑RFP debriefs. Maintain prequalification and certification requirements for Central Florida clients.

Marketing Leadership Represent T&G positively within the business and construction community. Lead marketing and public relations initiatives that support visibility and brand consistency. Support T&G’s social media presence through professional engagement. Assist with marketing videos, digital slides, newsletters, and corporate updates. Capture project and event photos for use in marketing materials. Manage branded collateral, printed materials, and marketing assets.

Internal Relations and Office Branding Maintain a professional office environment aligned with T&G’s brand. Oversee lobby and conference room digital displays. Manage construction site branding including signage, scrim, and hard hat branding. Prepare internal communications that reinforce culture and company updates.

Meetings and Event Planning Schedule and manage executive meetings and client appointments. Plan client‑facing events such as groundbreakings, ribbon cuttings, and topping‑out ceremonies. Organize internal celebrations, holiday events, and employee engagement activities.

General Complete additional responsibilities assigned by corporate executives.

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field preferred. Relevant experience in the Architecture, Engineering, or Construction (A/E/C) sector preferred. Strong writing and editing skills with attention to clarity and accuracy. Ability to influence decision makers and support business development strategies. Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and willingness to collaborate across teams. Bilingual preferred (Spanish speaking).

Compensation & Benefits Pay: $$85,000 to $125,000 annually
