Job Description A Tech company is looking for a Social Community Manager to join their team in Santa Monica, CA on a 4-month contract.
As Social Community Manager, you’ll collaborate with the Marketing/Social Team, Creators, and Agency partners to contribute to a robust, engaging, and healthy owned social community.
Responsibilities
Monitor comments and engagements across Snap-owned social handles daily
Synthesize trends and feedback gleaned from community and comments into weekly recaps for the broader team
Manage the response to community where appropriate in comments and direct messages
Ensure all public interactions align with the brand voice and legal guidelines
Stay informed on industry trends, news, and events to identify opportunities for community engagement and social content
Surface ideas and creative concepts gleaned from competitive analysis and social trends
Support with tracking daily social post performance and weekly Social Media performance reporting
Support with posting content on Snap owned handles
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Well versed in all social media platforms (Snapchat, Instagram, TikTok, X, Reddit, Discord, YouTube)
Experience with Social Media Management tools (Sprout Social, Sprinklr)
Ability to simultaneously manage and prioritize between multiple projects of varying complexities within a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Familiarity with social media performance metrics and reporting methodologies
Knowledgeable in social media trends, innovations, tools, and technology
An extreme passion for social, creators, trends, and the media/entertainment landscape

Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor degree or equivalent experience required
2+ years as a social media community manager for a high visibility company - preferably in tech or media
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
