Orlando City SC and Orlando Pride are seeking a hardworking, positive and passionate individual who wishes to supplement their classroom instruction with practical opportunities in facilitating match day press functions, including but not limited to, match day media operations, onsite media access and staff/player media availability. Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Be a key player in the Communications Department with match day media relations responsibilities across Orlando City, Orlando Pride and Orlando City B home matches. Assist Communications staff in press box management, including hospitality of media attendees. Create positive and welcoming match day experience for onsite media. Assist in preparation of post‑game recaps and post‑game quote sheets. Facilitate game day credentialing and check‑in process. Oversee media movements and protocols on match day, with special attention to both venue and league protocols. Help with pre‑game and post‑game player/staff availability. Opportunity to assist department in non‑match day Communications events and additional venue events, as needed. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications

Applicants should be working towards an undergraduate or graduate degree with an emphasis in public relations, sports management or other communications‑related field. Must be able to work a majority of home matches across the Club’s teams, including those on weekends and select holidays. Strong written and verbal skills. Exceptional reliability, interpersonal communication, and organizational skills required. An innovative individual who can come up with ideas and work extremely well within a team to develop creative solutions and identify new opportunities, often in a high‑pressure, fast‑changing environment. Strong attention to small details is a must, including knowledge of AP Style guidelines. Strong knowledge of MLS, NWSL and/or MLS NEXT Pro, or previous sports experience is a plus. Spanish or Portuguese‑speaking candidates are a plus, but not mandatory. Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays. Associates can be working toward academic credit for this opportunity. Ideal candidates can commit to the entirety of the MLS, NWSL and MLS NEXT Pro seasons (Approx. Feb.–Nov.); the Club is willing to work with individual circumstances. Title

In November 2013, Orlando City Soccer Club was awarded a Major League Soccer (MLS) franchise and began play in March 2015. The club has won MLS, NWSL and MLS NEXT Pro titles and holds a proud history in the United Soccer League. Orlando Pride joined the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) in 2015 and won the 2024 NWSL Championship and Shield. Both teams moved into their privately‑owned, soccer‑specific venue – Inter&Co Stadium – in 2017. The club was acquired by the Wilf Family in 2021. Equal Opportunity
