Description
This position will be responsible for supporting the overall strategy, implementation, and workflow of the Publix Marketing enterprise Digital Asset Management (DAM) system. This position will utilize the DAM system to assist with the management of Marketing digital assets throughout the asset lifecycle, including ensuring the proper ingestion and archiving of assets and application of metadata. Additionally, the Digital Asset Coordinator will ensure the continuous organization of assets in the DAM system, assist users with asset retrieval and troubleshooting of application‑level system issues, and provide DAM system user training. In accomplishing these responsibilities, this position will enable Marketing associates and partnering suppliers to access and utilize Publix’s digital assets, thereby helping to maximize the value of these assets quickly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
Assisting with the management of Marketing digital assets throughout the asset lifecycle using the Publix enterprise Digital Asset Management (DAM) system.
Ensuring the accurate and continuous organization of assets in the DAM system.
Troubleshooting DAM system user issues related to asset retrieval and application‑level system issues.
Assisting the Digital Asset Manager with training Marketing associates on proper usage and best practice strategies of the enterprise DAM system.
Participating in efforts to evaluate, integrate, and test with other Marketing‑related technologies to deliver overall process and productivity gains that come with an integrated marketing suite of products (i.e. – Adobe CC Suite, Marketing Resource Management Systems, Digital Asset Management, etc.).
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
2 years in digital asset management administration or related field
Knowledge of digital asset lifecycle
Knowledge of established metadata/keywords/descriptors
Ability and willingness to demonstrate eagerness, enthusiasm, optimism, and passion when working
Ability and willingness to adjust one's style or approach in response to differing circumstances or to work in ambiguous situations
Ability to work effectively without close supervision or guidance
Ability to set priorities, plan and coordinate work activities, schedule staff, and obtain and manage resources so that work objectives are accomplished on time and within budget
Ability to manage time so that the priority of the activities determines the timing and amount of attention they receive
Ability to understand and apply new information, procedures, or principles to perform job duties
Ability to attend to and verify the accuracy and completeness of detailed information in documents or on the computer, such as prices, quantity, weights, lists or data
Ability to develop and maintain professional, trusting, positive, and productive working relationships with associates, managers, customers, and vendors
Ability to create an environment in which a positive and professional service orientation is evident to internal customers
Ability to use “active listening” techniques to ensure the understanding of information provided by the speaker, and display interest in the topic discussed
Ability to interact with the audience; transmit the messages with clarity; engage the audience in the presentation; and interpret and understand the mindsets of the listeners
Ability to prepare clear, accurate, understandable, and professional written text in English, using appropriate level of detail for the intended audience, and following the basic rules of spelling, grammar, and punctuation to convey information
Basic Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
Basic Microsoft Word skills
Experience with Digital Asset Management Systems
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
Availability to work nights, weekends, extended hours and be on call 24/7 as business needs require
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising Graphics Design, Marketing, Library Science, Mass Communications, or Computer Sciences
3 years in digital asset management administration or related field
Knowledge of Marketing Resource Management (MRM)
Intermediate Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
Advanced Microsoft Word skills
Experience with SiteCore
Experience with Wordpress

Year End Bonus: To reward associates for their contributions to the company for the calendar year, Publix provides a Holiday Bonus in November. In the first year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to 15 hours of pay, and in the second year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to one week’s pay if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check.
