The Sam M. Walton College of Business offers a range of undergraduate, master’s, and Ph.D. programs with a focus on Retail, Data Analytics, and Entrepreneurship. The Marketing department, the largest undergraduate program in the college, partners with leading companies such as Walmart, Tyson, and General Mills to provide real‑world learning experiences.

Job Duties Part‑time temporary adjunct lecturers will teach undergraduate courses, providing quality instruction through face‑to‑face, online, or blended methods. Responsibilities include:

Developing clear course objectives and preparing relevant class activities.

Delivering understandable presentations of learning materials.

Maintaining fair and transparent grading practices and responding to students promptly.

Providing office hours as prescribed by the department chair.

Submitting grades by departmental and university deadlines.

Promoting collegial relationships and contributing to a harmonious work environment.

Attending required faculty meetings and professional development activities.

Minimum Qualifications

Master’s degree in a field.

Evidence of high‑quality instruction or training, such as guest speaking or workshop leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous face‑to‑face teaching experience in higher education (official instructor of record).

Compensation and Benefits Paid by Period Activity Pay. Benefits include university contributions to health, dental, life, and disability insurance; tuition waivers for employees and families; 12 official holidays; immediate leave accrual; and retirement programs ranging from 5% to 10% of salary.
