Position Overview

Versatile Designer of Men's Performance Knits within the World of Sports Sponsorships.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Market research - competitive shopping, internet research, new trend research Knowledge and understanding of the core Polo Men's customer and the Ralph Lauren identify- continuing to push and evolve modern active product that celebrates the brands identity and heritgage CADS - line sheets, stats, flat sketches, artwork/layouts, trims Communicate and collaborate with cross functional partners Design & Present seasonal concept cads to senior management Logo development - print, embroidery, patches, AOE. Partner w/Print Team and develop any seasonal Concept prints Daily communication via PD with overseas partners and vendors Close collaboration w/merchandising partners for design, color, cost, market adoption and post market adds/drops. Close partnership w/PD making sure all Tech Packs are accurate. · Attend fittings to help maintain design aesthetic and fit.

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

Must have a degree in Fashion Design or a related subject Minimum of 5 years industry experience. Within knitwear a plus. Strong Creative Suite knowledge - Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Reader, PowerPoint Microsoft Excel - Outlook, Excel, Word Experience working in PLM Excellent multi-tasking and organizational skills Clear communication Self-motivation and initiative Knowledge or understanding of 3D Browsewear would be a plus.
