Young Adult/Technology Services Librarian Town of Stoughton
The Stoughton Public Library seeks an energetic person for the Young Adult/Technology Services Librarian, in a busy, diverse community south of Boston. MLIS/MLS from an ALA accredited Library Master’s Program and at least 3 years’ experience working with children or young adults in a public library are required. Must also be familiar with computer technology, digital collections, and social media.
Responsibilities
Staff supervision
Development and management of the young adult collection
Providing a variety of programs
Detail-oriented work with excellent communication, organizational, and computer skills
Interaction with young adult population, and comfortable training staff and the public to use computer technology
Compensation and Benefits Annual Salary Range: $59,797.71-$75,016.62 in 10 steps. This is a 35 hour/week, full-time, union, benefited position with day, night and rotating Saturday hours.
