Strategic Communications Coordinator

Public & Media Relations: Partner with the Managing Director to develop and execute strategies that protect and enhance National Fuel’s reputation. Includes story development, media pitching, reactive response, and collaboration with marketing agencies. Energy Policy Communications: Work with Government Affairs to create impactful messaging for diverse audiences. Manage a new constituent relations platform for targeted outreach on state policy issues. Social Media Leadership: Drive integrated social efforts, manage corporate social strategy and content, and collaborate with agencies as needed. Internal Communications: Serve as a trusted advisor to Human Resources, business leaders and teams, delivering communication experiences that reflect company values and priorities. Event Coordination: Assist in planning and executing key organizational events—both physical and virtual—in partnership with Corporate Communications and executive leadership. Creative Oversight: Provide guidance and supervision to the company’s full-time graphic designer. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Excellent work ethic, resolute integrity, detail oriented with a commitment to delivering a high-quality and accurate work product. The ability to express complex technical and organizational concepts in terms understandable to customers, employees, the media and public. Strong project management skills; ability to work well under pressure and a respect for internal and external deadlines; manage multiple diverse activities simultaneously, deliver on commitments and varying deadlines, and operate/make decisions with speed, accuracy and strong judgment. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field 7–10+ years in a communications role; corporate experience strongly preferred Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a client-service mindset Digitally savvy; understands evolving social platforms and emerging channels Strong team player with exceptional relationship-building skills across all levels Excellent verbal, written (AP Style), and interpersonal communication skills Proactive, resourceful, and confident in exercising sound judgment Commitment to building a long-term career with National Fuel Bonus: Design skills (Adobe Creative Suite or other multimedia tools) ABOUT NATIONAL FUEL:

The base salary range for this position is $62,500 – $83,000 This job posting contains a pay range, which represents the range of pay that National Fuel believes, in good faith, at the time of this posting that it might be willing to pay for the posted job. The specific base pay offered to a successful applicant will be based primarily on relevant professional experience. Other components that may be considered include: individual qualifications, licensures, industry specific experience, education and market demands for specialized skills. The pay range is subject to change at any time based on various internal and external factors. Exempt positions will also be eligible for an Annual Cash Bonus Plan.
