We are seeking a visionary Staff Product Designer to lead transformative user experiences in healthcare and retail, redefining how millions of users access wellness, prescription management, and retail services. This role offers the opportunity to shape a next‑generation digital platform by combining consumer‑focused design with healthcare compliance and technological innovation. You will collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to create intuitive, engaging, and secure digital experiences across iOS, Android, and web platforms. The ideal candidate has a strong track record in complex UX design, a deep understanding of healthcare and retail ecosystems, and a passion for mentoring design teams while driving measurable impact in product adoption and engagement.
Accountabilities
Lead the strategy and execution of healthcare‑first user experiences across mobile and web platforms. Architect complex, multi‑step user flows for prescription management, telehealth visits, retail purchases, and insurance‑integrated transactions. Design an integrated commerce model allowing unified checkout of pharmacy, healthcare services, and retail products. Optimize UX for engagement and conversion using user research, behavioral analytics, and A/B testing. Develop and maintain a scalable design system across native and hybrid environments while ensuring HIPAA compliance and secure digital workflows. Advocate for accessibility and inclusive design standards, mentoring mid‑to‑senior designers to foster innovation and excellence. Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to integrate design solutions into production and align with business objectives. Qualifications
8+ years of experience in product design, UX/UI, or digital health, with at least 3 years in a principal or lead designer role. Expertise in designing complex user flows for healthcare, e‑commerce, or multi‑category digital experiences. Strong understanding of iOS (HIG) and Android (Material Design) principles; familiarity with React Native or Flutter. Proven portfolio showcasing healthcare, retail, or e‑commerce projects emphasizing usability, scalability, and engagement. Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Framer, Principle, or Adobe XD. Excellent communication, storytelling, and collaboration skills to present strategies to executives and cross‑functional teams. Experience translating complex healthcare workflows into intuitive digital experiences in Agile environments. Preferred Qualifications
Experience in health tech, telemedicine, pharmacy apps, or wearable integrations. Familiarity with HIPAA‑compliant design and data privacy best practices. Experience with AI‑driven personalization for health recommendations and wellness tracking. Expertise in optimizing multi‑category shopping carts in regulated industries.
