About this Opportunity Gold Coast FCU is looking for a Marketing Manager who is responsible for leading the Credit Union’s strategic marketing efforts to drive member growth, increase member engagement, drive product and service adoption, strengthen the organization’s brand, and deepen community engagement.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Strategy:
Develops, proposes, gains acceptance for, and implements a comprehensive multi‑channel marketing strategy that aligns with the Credit Union’s strategic goals, designed to meet the Credit Union's short‑ and long‑term marketing objectives.
Digital Marketing Oversight:
Execute digital marketing initiatives, including website optimization, email marketing, SEO/SEM, paid advertising, and social media engagement to effectively engage potential members and grow new business.
Market Research and Data Analytics:
Leverage data analytics, market research, member segmentation, and performance tracking to gain insights into member behavior and preferences, using this information to drive targeted marketing efforts, improve campaign performance, measure ROI, and performance reporting.
Member Communications:
Development and delivery of internal and external communications, including credit union’s Intranet, newsletters, promotional materials, member education campaigns, and PR initiatives. Manage/use internal equipment for printing jobs internally versus externally.

Knowledge and Skills
Education:
A bachelor's degree or equivalent formal certifications recognized in the industry, or three to five years of similar or related experience.
Interpersonal Skills:
Motivating and influencing internal leaders and external stakeholders. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships and deliver impactful presentations to decision makers.
Digital Marketing Expertise:
Results‑oriented digital marketing professional with deep expertise in SEO, SEM, social media strategy, email marketing, and paid digital media. Skilled in both push and pull techniques across websites, blogs, email, text messaging, RSS feeds, and emerging channels to drive customer acquisition and engagement.
Project Management:
Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously within fast‑paced, growth‑oriented environments. Strong analytical skills with a track record of transforming data into strategic insights.
Technical Proficiency:
Fully proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and a range of marketing and analytics platforms.
Industry Knowledge:
Extensive knowledge of the credit union industry and retail financial services sector preferred, with a clear understanding of regulatory considerations, member needs, and competitive positioning.
Compliance:
Adherence to GCFCU policies and procedures as well as state and federal rules and regulations such as BSA, Reg CC, OFAC, TISA, Information Security, etc. Must be aware of BSA matters and report suspicious activity and complete required BSA training.
