We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Industry Marketing Manager to lead the vertical marketing strategy for the Technology and Financial Services sectors. This role is responsible for deeply understanding these industries—including why Cvent wins, how our solutions address key use cases, and the needs of critical personas and buying centers. Leveraging this expertise, the Industry Marketing Manager will craft and evolve the messaging framework that empowers the entire Cvent organization to position us as the event technology partner of choice for technology and financial services organizations.
The ideal candidate is a B2B marketing professional with a passion for vertical marketing, a strong understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities within these sectors, and a proven track record of translating industry insights into actionable messaging and enablement strategies that drive organizational alignment and market leadership.
In This Role, You Will:
Develop and execute strategic marketing plans to drive growth and pipeline for the Technology and Financial Services verticals, in partnership with demand generation, sales and client success
Work with demand gen to build and optimize targeted, multi-channel campaign messaging (digital, content, events, ABM, and more) to drive demand and increase Cvent’s market share in these industries
Collaborate cross-functionally with product marketing, demand generation, sales, and client success teams to ensure content and resources are aligned with customer insights, business objectives and industry trends
Localize and adapt messaging, collateral, and assets to address the unique challenges and opportunities within the tech and financial services sectors
Identify and build relationships with key industry partners, associations, and influencers to amplify Cvent’s presence and thought leadership
Support and execute Cvent-hosted and third-party events, including webinars, conferences, and networking events, to drive engagement and lead generation
Collaborate with demand generation to track and analyze campaign performance, pipeline contribution, and ROI; use insights to optimize future initiatives
Stay current on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to inform strategy and maintain Cvent’s leadership position
Here’s What You Need:
6+ years of B2B marketing experience, with a focus on product or industry marketing; experience in technology and/or financial services preferred
Demonstrated success in developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns that drive measurable results
Strong understanding of the buyer journey and personas in the tech and financial services industries
Experience with marketing automation, CRM, and analytics tools (Salesforce, Marketo, etc.)
Excellent communication, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills
Creative thinker with strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field; advanced degree or professional marketing qualifications a plus
