Position Overview The

Area Admissions & Marketing Director

plays a vital role in driving census growth and building brand awareness for two newly acquired Majestic Care communities in West Virginia. This position oversees the full admissions process and leads marketing and outreach initiatives to establish Majestic Care as a trusted provider in the region. Responsibilities include managing referrals, ensuring compliance, supporting families through the admissions process, and cultivating strong relationships with healthcare partners and community organizations.

As these communities prepare for future relocation and redevelopment, this role will also coordinate marketing campaigns, launch events, and community engagement activities to support successful transitions and long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities Admissions Management

Serve as the primary point of contact for all admissions for the two assigned communities.

Partner with Central Intake and Case Management to review referrals, verify insurance benefits, secure authorizations, and assess clinical appropriateness.

Complete and ensure accuracy of all required admissions documentation, regulatory forms, and compliance requirements.

Facilitate pre-admission communication with residents and families to ensure a welcoming, supportive experience.

Coordinate with nursing, therapy, social services, and other internal teams to ensure smooth transitions and high-quality onboarding.

Maintain timely documentation in CRM and EHR systems related to referral status and admissions milestones.

Marketing & Community Outreach

Develop and execute a localized marketing plan for both communities.

Conduct regular outreach to hospitals, discharge planners, senior centers, home health agencies, and other referral sources.

Represent Majestic Care at community events, senior fairs, and networking opportunities.

Plan and coordinate on-site events such as open houses, tours, and educational sessions to build visibility and trust.

Lead planning and execution of future marketing campaigns, grand-opening events, and community engagement activities related to relocation and new building launches.

Referral Development & Census Growth

Maintain weekly sales calls, partner visits, and follow-ups to drive admissions and strengthen the pipeline.

Track referral trends and recommend strategies to address barriers and opportunities.

Collaborate with Central Intake to improve conversion rates and reduce avoidable denials.

Support ongoing census reviews to maintain stability and growth.

Internal Collaboration & Leadership

Partner with Executive Directors and care teams to ensure admissions readiness and service excellence.

Participate in stand‑ups, huddles, and marketing meetings as needed.

Educate teams on admissions processes, customer service, and referral best practices.

Share regular updates with leadership on admissions activity and marketing progress.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.

5–10 years of admissions, marketing, or sales experience in skilled nursing, healthcare, or senior services.

Strong knowledge of skilled nursing referral processes, insurance verification, and admissions workflows.

Demonstrated success in driving referral relationships and supporting census growth.

Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.

Ability to work independently across multiple locations and adapt to evolving needs.

Proficiency in CRM and EHR systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regularly between communities and events.
