This position provides communications and marketing services for the University of Washington’s Counseling Center to increase awareness of counseling services, promote student wellbeing, and support effective communication with UW Student Life and other campus partners. The Communications & Marketing Specialist position operates under the general direction of the Director of the Counseling Center and works closely with Counseling Center Leadership Team and general staff. This position will work closely with UW and Student Life campus partners to develop, implement and evaluate digital and print communication and marketing strategies in coordination with other UW Seattle communication and marketing units. A strong candidate will be adept at creating compelling and visually-appealingdemonstrate the ability to relate empathically, effectively, and consistently with a diverse student population and a commitment to cultivating long-lasting relationships with clinic and campus partners. Job responsibilities require the ability to perform tasks independently while on-site and remotely.
